Kingman Family Dentistry in Kingman, AZ is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our close-knit clinical team. You will work alongside our doctor across general dentistry procedures, ensuring patients feel comfortable and well cared for from the chair to post-treatment instructions.
The role requires Arizona Dental Assistant Certification with AZ Radiologic certification, hands-on experience, and strong teamwork.
Qualifications
- Arizona Dental Assistant Certification and AZ Dental Radiologic Certification required.
- Prior hands-on dental assisting experience.
- Proficiency in chairside techniques, sterilization, and digital X-rays.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset.
- Punctuality for 7:15 AM start.
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting during general dentistry procedures.
- Capture high-quality dental X-rays and prep patients.
- Turn over operatories between patients, sterilize instruments, follow OSHA guidelines.
- Review health histories, explain treatment steps, and provide post-operative instructions.
- Assist hygiene team with charting and room turnover.
- Document patient treatment notes accurately and timely.
