Job summary

Sun River Health in Brentwood, NY is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support dentists and hygienists, prepare and dismantle operatory, process radiographs, and help maintain a clean, efficient clinical workflow in a busy community health setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 0-1 year.
• Preferred: Vocational/Technical School or Diploma.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients and notify providers that the patient is present.
• Take and process radiographs as directed by the dentist/hygienist.
• Assist dentists/hygienists with patient care.
• Maintain infection control per OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Maintain supplies and instruments in dental operators.
• Maintain dental laboratory, process instruments, and monitor lab cases.
