42 North Dental in Somerville, MA is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support dentists, prepare patients, and provide chairside assistance during a range of procedures. You will expose radiographs, educate patients, and help maintain sterile treatment rooms.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred.
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.
• Strong verbal skills.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral images.
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain strict infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA compliance.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork as providers may change per needs.
