Dental Assistant Full-Time Bilingual in Spanish

Position Details

Location: Oak Park, IL

Salary Range: $19.00/hr - $23.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

Full-time: 37.5 hours/week

Primary Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist the dentist and dental students with patient care within state guidelines.
• Perform sterilization procedures and maintain clinic equipment.
• Maintain dental records and process digital x-rays.
• Support team members and mentor new staff and students.
• Assist with portable dentistry and front desk tasks as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Effective communication with staff and pediatric patients.
• Experience as a chairside assistant, knowledge of patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and records management.
• Preferred certifications: coronal polishing and sealant placement.
• Comfortable using nitrous oxide.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Dental Assistant or relevant experience.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish.
