Dental Assistant Position @Henry Ford Health
Working as a dental assistant (DA) in the departments of oral & maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) and hospital dentistry (HD) at Henry Ford Health (HFH) involves delivering dental and oral surgery care to medically complex, hospital-based patients. Care is provided in hospital settings, operating rooms, and outpatient clinics, often dealing with sicker and more complex patients than typical community clinics. As a DA, you will assist beyond chairside support, helping in patient care before, during, and after visits, with details provided during the interview. You will collaborate with multiple departments and work within a comprehensive electronic medical record system, with extensive training provided. You will also work closely with nursing leadership to maintain a safe, efficient environment, all aimed at providing high-quality care and excellent patient experiences.
