Preferences
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred

- Experience operating dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is advantageous
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and procedures is a plus
- Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately while adhering to radiation safety standards
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and general healthcare practices
- Certification in dental assisting or related field is desirable but not mandatory; relevant on-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly motivated Dental Assistant who shares our commitment to excellence in patient care. Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred, though we welcome recent graduates from accredited programs who demonstrate enthusiasm and dedication to their craft.
Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques
- Take and record vital signs and medical history for patients
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies while maintaining strict infection control protocols
- Operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners to capture accurate diagnostic images
- Manage electronic health records using EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide patient education on procedures, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices
- Assist with sterilization processes and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following aseptic techniques
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
- Maintain knowledge of dental terminology across various specialties including pediatrics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry
