Job summary

DOCS Dental seeks a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our on-base practices serving military families and veterans. You will support patient care, assist dentists, and manage clinical and clerical tasks in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Requirements include radiology licensing, X-ray and CPR/BLS certs, 2+ years of experience, and a valid driver’s license. On-site role; prepare for Real ID compliance.

Qualifications

  • Current Dental Assistant Radiology License / DANB Certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
  • X-Ray Certification (required).
  • CPR/BLS Certification (required).
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to obtain a Real ID before employment.
  • Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and Coronal Polishing certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with patients and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring comfort and informed consent.
  • Master dental software and equipment to support treatment efficiency.
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments; maintain infection control standards.
  • Assist dentists during procedures, including setup, breakdown, and disposal of biohazards.
  • Manage clerical duties, including daily and monthly reporting with strong attention to detail.

Office Hours
  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant with DOCS Dental, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our patients have a positive and seamless experience. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Building rapport with patients and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
