Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Explaining office procedures to patients before treatment.
• Providing quality, compassionate care to patients before, during, and after dental treatments.
• Performing dental charting and accurately inputting patient notes.
• Providing post-op instructions for oral care following procedures.
• Taking impressions of teeth for study models.
• Preparing and maintaining dental instruments and supplies.
• Taking and developing x-rays and recording patient health histories.
• Developing infection control protocols and sterilizing instruments.
• Monitoring equipment repairs and maintaining repair logs.
• Completing routine autoclave testing and cleaning.
• Assisting with supply orders and treatment plans.
• Adhering to all regulations and assisting in providing care across dental specialties.

Qualifications
