Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant in Overland Park, KS to support clinicians, prepare operatory spaces, and assist with procedures. You will take dental X-rays, help with patient flow, and ensure infection control and patient comfort.

The role offers strong training, competitive hourly pay, and flexible scheduling within a collaborative team. As a valued team member, you will educate patients on oral health, assist with charting, and support a smooth clinical workflow.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients of diverse backgrounds.

• High school diploma or equivalent; active license or permit as required; X-ray certification if required.

Responsabilités

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform impressions, bite registrations and digital scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with the practice team to ensure patient satisfaction.
