Brown University Health is hiring a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in a busy dental center, including adult, pediatric, and medically complex patients. You will set up rooms, assist during procedures, manage patient records, and reinforce oral hygiene guidance.

You'll work under clinical supervision with a focus on safety, infection control and accurate documentation, while coordinating with home/group facilities for patient scheduling and follow-up care.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an approved Dental Assistant program and DANB certification.
• Alternate path: 3,500 hours of approved work experience with x-ray certification.
• Experience with four-handed dentistry and dental radiographic procedures.

• Set up instruments, materials and supplies for procedures.
• Update medical history and monitor vital signs as needed.
• Prepare patient positioning, draping and protective devices.
• Explain procedures and provide post-care instructions to patients.
