Job summary

Hammock Gardens Dental Care is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our modern, technology-driven practice in New York. You will support dentists with four-handed chairside assistance, operate iTero 3D scanning, and help educate patients throughout treatment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, dependable performance, and a commitment to patient comfort in a fast-paced environment. Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 4-day work week and Mondays off.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of dental assisting experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with iTero scanners and Dentrix is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate during treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Prepare treatment room and maintain safety protocols per OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place orders as needed.
