We are looking for experienced Bilingual (Spanish) Dental Assistant to work in Pasadena, TX and surrounding areas.

What is needed:

• Must Speak Spanish and English (Required).
• High school diploma required.
• Must be a Registered / Certified Dental Assistant.
• One year in the last three years working as a Dental Assistant.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work as a team player, excellent organizational.
• Skilled and able to communicate with patients in a calm and reassuring manner.
• Ability to sit, stand, and/or bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to keep commitments and show up to confirmed shifts.

Bilingual: Spanish & English.

Job Duties/Responsibilities Include:

• Assist the dentist during exams and dental procedures, ensuring the patient's comfort and safety.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Prepare patient treatment rooms, including setting up necessary instruments and materials.
• Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and aftercare instructions.
• Record and update patient medical histories and chart dental procedures.
• Perform routine dental laboratory duties, including making impressions, pouring models, and creating temporary crowns.
• Manage patient records and ensure proper documentation in dental software systems.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
• Schedule patient appointments and handle patient inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control policies and OSHA standards.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, filing, and insurance verification when needed.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
