As a Dental Assistant, you will support clinicians, take X-rays, set up operatory, manage infection control, educate patients, and collaborate with the team to ensure patient satisfaction while contributing to the community.

Competenze

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and active state license/permit as applicable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally in a team setting.

Mansioni

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
