Advanced Dental Care of Ocoee seeks a dedicated Dental Assistant in Ocoee, FL to join our clinical team. You will support dentists, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and help deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include taking X-rays, assisting with impressions, maintaining records, and ensuring strict infection control. A one-year dental assistant program or equivalent experience is required, with CPR and X-Ray/Nitrous certifications

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience or equivalent documentation.
• X-Ray certification.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Assist with managing dental and medical emergencies by supporting CPR certification and emergency procedures.
