Job summary

Aspen Dental in Utah is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a full-time team. The role offers $17–$23 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and flexible scheduling within a world-class dental service organization.

You will assist during procedures, take x-rays, manage operatory setup, infection control, patient education, and support charting and office tasks to ensure excellent patient care in a collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license/registration including x-ray certification if required.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
