Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our patient-focused team in Rhode Island. This role supports a variety of procedures, takes dental x‑rays, prepares the operatory, and helps manage patient flow for smooth visits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license/permit as required by state; x-ray certification may be required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients of all ages.

• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to provide patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
