Aspen Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in a full-time role. You will assist with a variety of procedures, take x-rays, and manage the operatory setup and sterilization to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active license/permit with X-ray certification if required by state.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control—prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and manufacturer temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
