Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients across our Lexington practice. You’ll receive comprehensive training, competitive compensation, and a schedule that fits your life while helping communities smile brighter.

In this role you’ll take X-rays, prepare operatory setups, manage infection control, and assist with patient handoffs and charting. A high school diploma and state x-ray license are required, with opportunities for growth and CE.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Manage infection control—prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform impressions, bite registrations and digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform office tasks and collaborate with the practice team.
