Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinical needs and patient care across the practice. You will receive training, participate in various procedures, and help optimize patient flow while upholding infection control standards and professionalism.

The role involves taking x-rays, assisting during treatments, preparing instruments, and educating patients on oral hygiene. A state license/x-ray certification is required where applicable; a high school diploma is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
