Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant in Avon, IN for a full-time position paying $20-$25 per hour. The role offers a generous benefits package and ongoing training through TAG U, with strong focus on patient care and teamwork.

You will assist during procedures, take dental x-rays, maintain operatory, ensure infection control, educate patients, and support the practice team to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license/permit as required by state; x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
