Job summary

Espire is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant in Thornton, CO to support clinical teams with patient prep, infection control, and radiography. You will assist dentists and hygienists, manage patient records in EMR, and help with implants and sedation when needed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with dental equipment and instruments.
• Knowledge of CEREC and intraoral scanning is a plus.
• Experience with sedation and dental implant placement/restoration is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in training, including travel.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to build trust with patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental work and assist with procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up trays, and manage materials.
• Assist dentists in medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
• Support dental hygienists during procedures as needed.
• Record treatment information in patient records.
• Take and expose dental X-rays for diagnostics and care.
