Job summary

Qualified candidates will have a 1-year certified dental assistant program or 6 months' experience, X-ray certification, and willingness to maintain OSHA/HIPAA/CPR training; comprehensive benefits are offered by the office.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation).
• X-Ray certification is required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintenance of OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
