Job summary

Towncare Dental in Miami, FL is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to support the clinical team, prepare treatment rooms, and educate patients on oral care. The role emphasizes teamwork and high-quality patient experiences in a modern, patient-centered practice.

Responsibilities include sterilization, radiography, impressions, documentation, and helping manage emergencies. Prior dental assisting experience and relevant certifications enhance candidacy.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• X-Ray certification is required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed and patient confidentiality maintained.
• Maintain accurate patient records including scheduling and intake.
• Assist in dental/medical emergencies and maintain CPR certification and emergency supplies.
