Aspen Dental in New Braunfels, Texas is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support the clinical team and patient care in a busy practice. This full-time position offers meaningful patient care, training, and community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active license/registration/permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification if required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient rapport.
• Ability to learn and grow professionally and work with a dental team.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
