Job summary

Aspen Dental Group in Oak Ridge, Tennessee is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant. You will provide essential support to patients and the clinical team, enhancing the overall patient experience. This role includes assisting in treatment procedures, managing infection control, and educating patients on oral hygiene.

Qualifications

• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental x-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow
• Manage infection control and sterilize instruments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
• Perform digital intraoral scans
• Support patient charting for doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with practice team for patient satisfaction
