Job summary

Manatee Dental of East Bradenton is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the clinical team in Bradenton, FL. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists, take X-rays, educate patients, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• X-Ray certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Assist dentist in managing dental and medical emergencies.
