Dental Health360 in Paramus, Clifton NJ and Spring Valley, NY is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged, with solid communication skills and a team attitude that stays professional with patients and staff and follows directions to keep the office running smoothly.

We offer full-time or part-time schedules with evenings and Saturdays/Sundays.

Formación

• Experience working in general dentistry (preferred)
• High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
• Certifications and licenses (Min X-Ray License with CDA preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment; Provide consistent exceptional service
• Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth)
• Performing office tasks that often require the use of a personal computer
• Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including but not limited to, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and oral surgery
• Set up and sanitation of exam rooms
• Ensure medical safety guidelines and procedures are met
• Ability to have flexible hours; maintain cleanliness of office throughout
• Ability to take direction from office manager & dentist
