Job summary

Raynham Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant to support Dentists in delivering exceptional care. This part-time position runs 2 days weekly, with Tuesday 12p-8p and Thursday 8a-5p, in our friendly, upbeat Raynham practice.

Responsibilities include chairside assistance, radiographs, patient education, and front desk support. Requires 1+ year experience and state-specific radiography certification; HIPAA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Min. 1 year experience as Dental Assistant.
• CRP Certification- Radiography/ X-RAY certification per state guidelines
• Well versed in dental terminology and procedures
• Maintains a positive, collaborative and supportive disposition with team and patients
• Maintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).
• Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009

Responsibilities

• Strive to provide the best patient experience
• Support and Assist dentist chairside with clinical treatment of patients.
• Assist with documentation and the upkeep of records
• Listen, empathize and address all patient concerns
• Provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health.
• Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process.
• Take radiographs/x-rays
• Support front desk and office manager as needed with admin needs, patient calls, etc.
