Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Northwest is seeking a dental assistant to support dentists, hygienists, and staff in a busy Hillsboro dental office. You will assist procedures, take radiographs, and help with patient education and records management.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience or a dental assisting program graduate, with Oregon radiography certification preferred and a strong emphasis on infection control and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from ADA accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
• Dental Radiation Proficiency Certificate (Oregon) preferred.
• Pit and Fissure Sealant/EFDA certificates within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures and radiographs.
• Prepare operatory, pass instruments, and maintain a clean field.
• Ensure infection control, sterilization, and proper material handling.
• Organize patient records and communicate care plans to families.
