Qualifications

  • Salary: $30 - $34 per hour

How You’ll Make a Difference

As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, you will perform essential duties to create lasting impressions and build trust with our patients.

  • Assist with patient flow and support the dental team throughout the day.
  • Assist doctors during various treatment procedures.
  • Prepare and breakdown operatory rooms for procedures.
  • Ensure sterilization and maintenance of equipment and operatory areas.
  • Support patient charting and monitor patient flow.
  • Follow all safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and provide oral care instructions.
  • Support laboratory cases and perform intraoral health scans.
  • Perform additional functions such as coronal polishing or restorative tasks based on certification.
  • Maintain emergency kits and supplies.
  • Perform general office tasks as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current Dental Assistant license, registration, or certification as required by your state.
  • Radiology certification as required by your state.
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Proficiency in chairside assisting and infection control.
  • Up-to-date CE as per state requirements.
  • State certification in expanded functions if applicable.
