Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. is seeking experienced Dental Assistants to become fully trained instructors for evening classes at our Knoxville campus. The role involves teaching clinical and administrative skills to 10-20 students, following Ross curriculum, with 4.5-hour sessions.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in the field and a national certification (RDA or CDA). If education is lacking, 5+ years with certification may qualify.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the dental field with national certification (RDA from AMT or CDA from DANB).
• If no formal education, 5+ years’ field experience with national certification may qualify.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience preferred.
• Must be flexible and possess a passion to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours long.

Knoxville - Campus based position

We are looking for experienced DA's to become fully trained instructors to teach scheduled year round evening classes. Full Paid Training.

Evening classes run M-TH 5:30-10

We also have Morning classes run M-F 8:30-1 - please let us know your availability to pick up additional PRN morning hours if interested.

DA Qualifications: Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB) and formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross.
• If you do not have the formal education, you can also qualify with 5+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification. *additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements
• Interest in teaching or prior experience
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow
