Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Dental assisting certification or enrollment preferred, but not required.
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments.
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Welcome and escort patients to treatment areas.
• Take and record patient medical histories and vital information.
• Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and oral hygiene education.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the office.
• Take dental radiographs/X-rays (if certified or willing to complete certification).
• Stock and organize clinical supplies.
• Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
