Job summary

Aspen Dental in Maine is seeking an Entry-Level Dental Assistant with no prior experience. You’ll receive paid, hands‑on training through our DANB program and a clear path toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) while supporting patients and the dental team.

This Full-Time role involves assisting procedures, operatory setup, infection control, charting, and general office tasks. We provide paid training, benefits, and flexible scheduling to support growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

Entry-Level Dental Assistant

No dental experience or certification is required to apply. As an Entry-Level Dental Assistant, you’ll get paid, hands‑on training through our partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and a clear path toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) — all while working alongside a team that helps patients in your community every day.

Salary: $20 - $24 / hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Varies by independently owned and operated location; part-time, full-time, and flexible scheduling available*

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Supports patient charting for Doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
