Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and maintain efficient patient flow in a high-volume practice. The role includes prep, charting support, sterilization, radiographs, and patient education.

You will assist doctors, perform sterilization, manage operatory setups, ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance, and participate in ongoing training and growth opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant License, Registration or certification as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient at chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Demonstrate sterilization and infection-control techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DDS/office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Break down operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA requirements and proper safety protocols.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and educate patients on oral care.
• Order and manage supplies within the practice budget.
• Support patient charting and handoffs to ensure smooth patient flow.
