Valley River Endodontics is seeking a capable Dental Assistant to join a busy specialty practice in Eugene, Oregon. You will support the dentist, greet patients, prepare treatment rooms, and maintain records, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires 1+ year of dental assistant experience, knowledge of instruments and sterilization, and adherence to health and safety standards. Base pay varies by experience; non-clinical and clinical roles are described in the posting.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year of experience as a dental assistant.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the dental office.
• Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring their comfort.
• Selecting and setting up instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Sterilizing instruments according to regulations.
• Assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked.
• Scheduling appointments and post op visits.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Facilitating/ coordinating other office responsibilities as needed.
