Job summary

Community Health Centers is seeking a Dental Assistant to screen and prepare patients for treatment, assist the dentist, educate patients, and manage radiographs. The role includes instrument processing, charting, and travel to other CHC locations as needed.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, Dental Assistant certificate with radiology, and EFDA within 12 months. BLS certification within 30 days is preferred, with flexible hours and site assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental Assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited program including radiology required.
• Successful EFDA completion within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Screen and prepare patients for treatment; educate patients.
• Assist dentist in treating patients and taking/ developing radiographs.
• Prepare and process instruments; maintain charting and supplies.
• Travel to other CHC locations may be required.
• Perform operatory disinfections and sterilization of instruments.
