Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a healthcare organization in Alturas, CA to hire a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a full-time, benefits-eligible outpatient clinic position on-site. Responsibilities include assisting providers, preparing patients, and maintaining a clean, organized space to support efficient clinic flow.

The role requires CPR certification and (for RDA applicants) a California RDA license, with relocation assistance available for eligible candidates

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• CA Registered Dental Assistant license is required for RDA applicants.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dental procedures, including extractions and orthodontic treatments.
• Prepare dental materials and maintain a clean, sterile workspace.
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures.
• Pull, file, and maintain patient charts, X-rays, and required documentation.
• Perform dental dressings, impressions, and other duties as directed by the dentist.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for use.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control protocols.
• Attend required CPR and safety training.
• RDA candidates will perform additional responsibilities, including select supervisory duties.

This full-time, benefits-eligible opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment. Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting daily clinical operations by assisting providers, delivering quality patient care, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and helping ensure the efficient flow of the clinic.

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | On Site | Per Diem opportunities also available

What You’ll Do

• Assist with dental procedures, including extractions and orthodontic treatments

What We Are Looking For
