Job summary

Dental Depot seeks a Dental Assistant to support the dentist in delivering high-quality oral health care. You will prepare patients, sterilize instruments, set up trays, and assist during procedures from start to finish.

Responsibilities include recording treatment in Eaglesoft, exposing dental X-rays, and providing post-treatment instructions. Prior experience, CPR, X-ray certification, and HIPAA knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of Dental Assisting Program or minimum one year experience.
• Current Dental Assisting Permit Required.
• CPR Certification Required.
• X-Ray Certification is required to serve chairside.
• Understands HIPAA to ensure patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials.
• Record treatment information in patient records and in Eaglesoft.
• Expose dental diagnostic x-rays and care for x-ray sensors.
• Assist Dentist during dental procedures and manage emergencies.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Maintain inventory and assist with clinic safety and compliance.
