Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care.

You will assist during procedures, prepare instruments, take digital X-rays using Dexis software, and help maintain a clean, organized workstation. The ideal candidate has an active Washington RDA license, current BLS, at least 2 years of chairside experience, and proficiency with provisional crowns.

Qualifications

• Washington RDA active license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years chairside experience.
• Proficiency with making provisional crowns required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries and fillings.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Take digital dental X-rays accurately using Dexis software.
• Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
• Provide chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort.
• Record and update patient histories and treatment plans.
• Manage instruments and pass them to the dentist as needed.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
