Job summary

Alivio Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists with direct patient care and chairside assistance across multiple Berwyn clinics. The role also includes office duties to maintain clinic efficiency and patient flow.

The ideal candidate has a background in dental assisting, is bilingual in Spanish/English, and demonstrates strong customer service and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited dental assisting program or at least six months of chairside experience.
• Coronal polishing and Sealant Placement Certification, desired; BLS Certification required.
• Six months chairside experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up instruments, equipment and materials for each patient visit.
• Assists the dentist in maintaining a clear field of vision and passing instruments during procedures.
• Takes and processes digital x-rays as prescribed by the dentist.
• Maintains infection control standards and sterilizes rooms and instruments.
• Schedules appointments, verifies insurance eligibility and assists with payments.
