Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ohio dental X-ray licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• CDA certification preferred.
• Previous dental experience preferred.
• Experience using electronic health records preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, coworkers, and dental professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists, dental hygienists and other dental staff during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for patient care.
• Seat patients, provide chairside assistance, and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Take and process dental X-rays per regulations and clinic protocols.
• Disinfect, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Maintain treatment areas and assist with inventory management.
• Support accurate patient documentation and records.
• Assist with patient registration and scheduling-related duties.
• Collaborate with the dental team to support efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
