Job summary
NEW IMAGE DENTAL in Las Vegas is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to support our dentists and maintain efficient clinical operations. Working closely with a small team, you will prep patients, manage sterilization, assist with radiography, and keep accurate records.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, CPR certification, proficiency in radiography and infection control, and strong patient care and teamwork skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of dental assisting experience.
- CPR certification.
- Proficient in dental radiography and infection control.
- Strong patient care and sterilization knowledge.
- Teamwork and communication essential.
- Attention to detail and coachability.
- Spanish-speaking a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
- Prepare patients and ensure comfort.
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Take dental impressions as required.
- Maintain patient records using Open Dental Software.
- Manage dental inventory and supplies.
- Assist with dental radiography procedures.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
