Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous dental assistant experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist dentists and dental hygienists during preventive, restorative, and oral surgery procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, supplies, and dental materials for patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs as directed by providers.
• Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards in compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Document patient information, treatment notes, health histories, and consent forms in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and support preventive dental care initiatives.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with laboratory procedures.
• Foster a welcoming, compassionate environment for patients and families.
• Support HICHC's PCMH model and interdisciplinary care approach.
