Progressive Dental Arts in Glen Mills, PA seeks an energetic Dental Assistant to support dentists and clinicians in daily procedures. You will greet patients, prepare treatment rooms, and maintain a sterile environment while ensuring comfort and safety throughout visits.

The ideal candidate has an accredited program, CPR, and radiology certification, with 1–2 years of experience or new graduates welcome. Strong communication, organizational skills, and familiarity with dental software are a plus

Formación

• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Dental radiology certification required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a dental office preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patient care and team collaboration.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with dental software systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort throughout their visit.
• Communicate professionally with patients regarding procedures, follow-up care, and inquiries.
• Review medical histories, update patient records, and take vital signs as needed.
• Provide patients with oral hygiene guidance and post-operative instructions.
• Support front desk with check-in, follow-up scheduling, and patient flow.
• Maintain sterile environment and infection control throughout treatment.
• Assist during procedures with instrument transfer, suction, and maintaining a clear field.
• Prepare and mix dental materials as directed per manufacturer guidelines.
• Capture diagnostic-quality radiographs; ensure proper positioning and safety.
• Prepare lab cases and coordinate with labs for timely processing.
• Update patient records accurately and maintain documentation integrity.
• Print and distribute daily day sheets; monitor supplies and inventory.
