Under the supervision of the Supervising Dentist, Correctional Facility (CF), and/or Supervising Dental Assistant, CF, and the clinical direction of the Dentist, CF, the Dental Assistant, CF performs supportive dental procedures under the guidelines and regulations set forth by the Dental Board of California Dental Practice Act, and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Dental Program, Health Care Department Operations Manual (HCDOM), policies and procedures.
