Bourbon Family Dentistry in Paris, Kentucky, invites a dedicated Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our close-knit team. You will work Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM–5 PM, at 4223 Lexington Road, with a pay range of $16.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a dental assistant.
• X-ray certification required; CPR preferred.

• Ability to sterilize instruments and take dental X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the dental office.
• Prepare patients for treatments and ensure comfort.
• Chair-side assisting with restorative and prosthodontics tasks; infection control; radiology.
• Educate patients on treatments and oral health.

A Day In the Life Of

As our Dental Assistant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission to create beautiful smiles and promote overall wellness.

• Welcome patients to the dental office.
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort.
• Chair-side assisting
  • Restorative Dentistry:Place, shape, and finish amalgam and composite restorations.
  • Prosthodontics:Place temporary crowns and bridges.
  • Infection Control:Sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Radiology:Take and process dental X-rays.
  • Patient Education:Provide valuable information to our patients.

What You'll Bring To The Table

• Required Education: High School diploma/GED
• Excellent organization/ /computer skills
• Proven experience as a dental assistant for a minimum of 6 months (preferred 1 year)
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Additional certification (Plus)

  • Coronal Polishing (perform regulated non-surgical tasks)
  • Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
