About The Role
As a Dental Assistant, you'll work closely with the dentist to provide top-quality care to our patients. You'll assist with clinical procedures, maintain a clean and prepared operatory, and ensure each patient feels comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Clearly and calmly communicate treatment plans to patients and parents
- Identify prior authorization requirements and ensure proper consent forms are completed
- Monitor and support the comfort and safety of patients
- Accurately document treatments using both electronic and paper records
- Perform general housekeeping and restocking duties
- Licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
- Must have polishing and X-ray certification
- CPR certification required
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- Must be Bilingual Spanish
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and anticipate the needs of the team and doctor
- A kind, respectful, and team-oriented attitude
