We are a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia, and Westchester County. We are currently seeking a Full-time Dental Assistant to join our team in the Beacon location.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Assist Dentists/Hygienists as needed and prepare/dismantle operatory for patient treatment.
  2. Perform job duties in compliance with systems and job-specific standards.
  3. Check in patients and notify providers of patient presence.
  4. Monitor and update charts; document radiographs and treatment plans; maintain dental records.
  5. Record patient appointment data daily to collect monthly dental statistics.
  6. Take and process radiographs as directed.
  7. Assist dentists/hygienists with patient care.
  8. Follow OSHA standards of infection control under CDC guidelines.
  9. Maintain supplies and instruments in the dental operatory.
  10. Maintain dental laboratory, process instruments, and monitor lab cases.
  11. Follow weekly and monthly sterilization equipment maintenance procedures.
Minimum Education & Experience
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of work-related experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written) preferred.
Additional Information

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
