**Responsibilities:**

1. Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
2. Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
3. Assisting Dentist with procedures when necessary.
4. Providing great patient care and recording treatment information in patient records.
5. Exposing dental x-rays and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
6. Providing patients with information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.
7. Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
8. Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
9. Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations.
10. Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
11. Ordering dental supplies and maintaining inventory.
12. Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

1. At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
2. Bilingual is a plus.
