Hero Practice Services is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients. We focus on delivering systems, processes, and people needed to efficiently provide dental, vision, and orthodontic care to children in underserved communities. The Opportunity

This role supports children and young people in our communities, improving their health and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide the best patient experience possible
  • Support optimized schedules and educate patients and guardians on treatment urgency
  • Take diagnostic radiographs and intraoral pictures
  • Manage patient records using dental documentation software
  • Use behavior management techniques approved by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric environment
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, Dental Board, ADA, and other regulations
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in a dental office
  • Proficiency with dental instruments and understanding their proper use
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire for professional growth
  • Organizational skills and dental knowledge
Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, walk, stand, talk, hear, handle equipment, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
